Our single use, disposable, exhaled-air resuscitation (CPR) mask is a single use, physical barrier between the person requiring CPR and the rescuer. The design of the mask provides better protection to the rescuer from potential vomitus and biological diseases (i.e., Hepatitis, HIV, others), as opposed to no mask or using a plain plastic barrier. Using this type of mask increases the willingness of people to perform mouth-to-mouth resuscitation by reducing their concern over perceived health risks. The mask being clear, allows excellent observation of the victim’s mouth, nose, color, and status.
